Inspired by 1960’s Alfred Hitchcock's classic Psycho. Psycho was adapted from a thriller novel by Robert Bloch. The shower scene is one of the most famous scenes in the history of cinema. It took 78 setups and 52 cuts where you see actress Janet Leigh stabbed to death in the shower. The scene lasts 45 seconds and took seven days to film.
This 1 minute film, as does the scene in Psycho deals with a traumatic situation.
The beginning starts like any other normal day, however, the regularity of our day to day is not guaranteed We never know what may happen.
There is two versions with different sounds at each endings. One 'Shower Scene' film ends with a train horn and another version ends with a kettle whittle. Everyday sounds that can be dramatic and haunting.
